The Canada vs Qatar World Cup match ended in a post-match altercation and a heated exchange between the two managers after Canada dominated in the 6-0 game Thursday in Vancouver’s BC Place.
Disciplinary penalties plagued Qatar, as they played with nine men and the match was affected by this. Things got sour in the second half when Canada midfielder Ismael Kone was badly injured after a decent tackle from Qatar’s Assim Madibo. Seeing the tackle, all players on the field rushed to the area and began to seek help.As soon as it happened, players on the field hurried to the area and started to cry for help.
A VAR review gave Madibo a straight red card after it was determined that excessive force was used. Qatar were already at ten when Homam Al Amin was also sent home, resulting in the visitors being very weak for the rest of the game.

Marsch didn’t go into any detail of the incident, but publicly criticized what was seen on the field after the match, indicating his displeasure with the behavior that had occurred in the Qatar technical area.
The win helps propel Canada up the table in Group B, and Qatar will incur disciplinary and competitive penalties after the crushing punishment, with several red cards and injury worries.
