Rio Ngumoha’s Premier League ‘dream debut’ was impressive, as he scored a late winner against Newcastle United on Monday.
Liverpool won 3-2 against Newcastle after Ngumoha scored a stunning goal in stoppage time off the bench, becoming the fourth-youngest scorer in league history and the youngest ever in Liverpool’s colours. Van Dijk called the youngster’s debut a ‘dream debut’ and praised him.

A 16-year-old scored a wonderful goal, remarked Liverpool boss Slot. He remarked that the teen finishes well for his age.
“Big opportunity. He finishes well for his age. His shot was rare in its firmness.
“He is so confident and for him to score is not completely a coincidence, for his age he is a really good finisher.”
The win puts Liverpool on six points from two games, tied with Arsenal and Spurs at the top. While Newcastle stay winless with one point and growing injury concerns, Isak’s future is questionable.
